DATE: September 24th at 8.30h

A nice excursion to discover the interior of Baix Empordà, Josep Pla’s homeland and one of the most beautiful areas of Catalonia. Throughout the day we will visit three of the most beautiful medieval villages of the Empordà and walk along a beautiful, easy and very flat path (9km).

– PERATALLADA

Peratallada is probably the best preserved medieval village in the whole of Baix Empordà. Declared a Historic-Artistic Site for the enormous architectural wealth it preserves, strolling through its cobbled and flower-filled streets is a pleasure for the senses.

– PALAU-SATOR

Palau-Sator is another medieval village of feudal urban fabric, with small streets of medieval origin that seem to have been frozen in time.

– PALS

Pals is undoubtedly the most famous and touristic medieval village of the beautiful Empordà. Dominated by the Torre de les Hores, the medieval quarter of Pals offers one of the best panoramic views of this area of the Costa Brava.
