The small neighborhood of La Clota is a miracle. Its landscape, full of orchards, narrow streets, humble houses, small workshops and old dirt roads, reminds us that there was a time when the villages around Barcelona still maintained their rural and artisan character. Moreover, in La Clota, an area of orchards, water was plentiful because the Horta stream and the Sant Genís, Catorze Plomes and Genissa streams converged here.

La Vall d’Hebron is a sparsely populated neighborhood, very quiet, with a clean air, many gardens, full of sports facilities, and urbanized since the fifties. It is a very pleasant area that also hides some surprises: old farmhouses converted into restaurants and tennis clubs, a curious monument in the shape of matchsticks or an exact replica of the Pavilion of the Republic, the famous building designed by Josep Lluís Sert for the Paris Exhibition of 1937 where Picasso’s “Guernica” was exhibited for the first time.
