DATE: October 8 and 9

A very complete weekend with accommodation in a central 4-star hotel in Andorra la Vella on a half-board basis that will allow us to discover Andorra and enjoy the great little country of the Pyrenees. Andorra, known worldwide for its incredible ski slopes, for the quantity and quality of its shops and for its banks, has a splendid natural environment, has a thousand-year history and has a magnificent cultural and artistic heritage, with more than forty Romanesque churches of great beauty scattered throughout its territory and a considerable number of museums, such as the Carmen Thyssen Andorra Museum.

And to get the most out of our stay in Andorra, I have designed a very complete program that combines nature, culture, history, gastronomy and free time to go shopping, visit the Thyssen museum or relax in the Caldea hot springs.

During our stay in the small country of the Pyrenees we are going to enjoy nature with a beautiful easy and flat walk to the Engolasters lake; we will contemplate spectacular views from the viewpoints of Roc del Quer (Canillo) and Naturlandia (Sant Julià de Lòria); we are going to visit the two best-preserved tiny medieval complexes in Andorra: Santa Coloma and Les Bons, with their respective Romanesque churches; we are going to savor typical Andorran food in a beautiful borda, a typical construction of the Pyrenees; We are going to get closer to the interesting history of the country with an exclusive guided visit to Casa de la Vall; we will discover the best kept secrets of Andorra la Vella, the capital; And, last but not least, we will have free time to go shopping, visit the Carmen Thyssen museum or relax in the Caldea hot springs. And all in one weekend!

NOTE: To enter Andorra it is mandatory to have a valid ID or passport. In Andorra there are customs taxes, and only products with a value limit of 900 euros can be taken out of the country without paying customs taxes.
