Enjoy a cultural and recreational weekend in the high mountains of the Eastern Pyrenees (in the regions of La Cerdanya and El Ripollès) with half-board accommodation (breakfast and dinner) in a hotel with a swimming pool in La Masella.
During the weekend we will have the opportunity to go up to the Vall de Nuria with the rack railway and enjoy a nice and easy guided walk around the lake; We are going to go up to the Niu de l’Aliga refuge (the highest in Catalonia) by cable car to contemplate one of the best panoramic views of the Catalan Pyrenees; We are going to visit Queralbs, a picturesque little town with typical mountain buildings; we are going to walk around the beautiful lake of Puigcerdà and its gardens; etc And always accompanied by an official guide who knows the area well.
Rack railway to Vall de Núria and easy excursion + Queralbs
On Saturday morning we will go up from Ribes de Freser to the Vall de Núria with the rack railway, a unique experience where, from the first moment, a whole world of sensations is experienced thanks to the beauty and spectacular landscape and of a unique natural environment.
In the Vall de Núria we will visit the sanctuary, we will walk around the lake -easy and flat walk- and we will eat something light on the terrace of the bar/restaurant, an ideal place to relax and reconnect with nature.
After lunch we will go down to Ribes de Freser with the rack railway and take the bus to Queralbs, a very pretty town that still retains the charm of small mountain villages.
Gondola lift to the impressive Niu de l’Àliga refuge and an easy excursion to enjoy the best views of the Eastern Pyrenees
On Sunday morning we will go up to the Niu de l’Âliga refuge (2,537 meters, the highest in Catalonia) with the cable car, a unique experience to enjoy the magnificent views of Cerdanya, Berguedà and Ripollès from a point panoramic observation point at 2,537 meters of altitude. To go down we will have two options: take the cable car again or go down on foot.
We eat together in Puigcerdà and an easy walk around the lake and its gardens
After enjoying the impressive panoramic views of the high mountains, we will go down to Puigcerdà to eat together in a restaurant and enjoy a very relaxed walk around the lake, one of the most beautiful and glamorous in Catalonia.
An ideal weekend to relax, reconnect with nature and enjoy the summer away from the beach and the crowds.
