DATE: July 3 at 8 a.m.

Like every summer, at Enjoy Catalonia we go to l’Estartit to sail and enjoy the Illes Medes. But this time, we changed boats to sail for 3 hours through the Illes Medes Natural Reserve and the Montgrí Coast aboard “El Corsari Negre”, a spectacular wooden schooner. During the navigation we will have the opportunity to enjoy a swim in crystalline waters in the Falaguer area, where we will arrive by zodiac.

– El Corsari Negre”, a unique schooner in Catalonia (3 hours sailing and free time for swimming).

The Corsari Negre is a schooner type boat built by hand with tropical wood in Camamú, on the banks of the Acaraí River (Brazil), like the old pirate ships. This boat, unique in Catalonia and the Costa Brava, crossed the entire Atlantic Ocean from Brazil to reach our shores after 70 days of sailing.

– THE MARINE RESERVE OF THE MEDES

The Medes Islands are a small archipelago of 21.5 ha formed by seven islets and reefs that are home to an underwater landscape of extraordinary biological and ecological value.

– L’ESTARTIT + CALELLA COVE

L’Estartit is the port of Torroella de Montgrí and the place from where boats depart for the Medes Islands.
Cala Calella is a small and narrow stone cove located one hour from l’Estartit. To reach it, you have to go through a beautiful path with spectacular views of the Medes Islands and the Montgrí massif.
